Please submit the following no later than the end of the day on Thursday, April 6th.
Include any and all details that a bidder would want and need to know. There are no minimum requirements.
Do I have to attend?
No. However, if you wish to attend you may do so through ticket purchase or by volunteering. Non-attendees may still sell tickets and have a package in the silent auction.
What is a candidate table/pouring station?
It is a table where wine is poured and sampled to guests. Provide 2-3 volunteers (may include yourself) for a sampling table and have the opportunity to raise money at it. More details below.
When will I receive the funds raised from ticket sales?
A lump sum deposit will be made to your account within a week following the event.
Do I have to use my discounted tickets?
No, you may do whatever you like with those tickets. Some candidates who plan to work a table use these tickets as a team incentive or other ways to raise money.

How can I raise money at the table?
Almost anything goes as long as you keep it at the table. (Past examples: raffle, donation jar, selling merch, etc.) Get creative. There’s a lot of money being donated that night. Claim it.
Your fundraising “activity” must be approved by Tori and may be subject to a first-come-first-serve basis. Your volunteers must be registered above by March 31st.
What will volunteers be doing?
They will pour 2 oz samples of wine to guests. They may also fundraise at your table, but only at your table.
Do volunteers have to be 21?
Yes.
What should I wear?
It is a cocktail attire requested event. Shoes you can stand in for an extended period of time is advisable.
What if I can’t stay the whole time?
It is up to the candidate to ensure the table is staffed by at least 2 people at all times from 6 to 11. Shifts or anything else can be worked out as a team.
Do I need prior wine experience?
No. The important thing is to keep the pours small unless the guest is confident they like the wine. (We hate to waste wine and there are a lot of others to be sampled.) Please also do not touch the bottles to the glasses while you are pouring. It is also recommended you spend a few minutes looking up your wines to be able to answer some basic questions.
Please submit the following by Friday, March 31st for each volunteer that will be working your pouring table. Two-three allowed per table. At least two volunteers per table must arrive by 6pm.
